Meet Carrie
Carrie has been a professional event coordinator since 2008, when she began hosting large, bi-annual wedding shows in Louisville. Her passion for organizing events led her to create other events, such as the Louisville Kids Fair, which hosted nearly 15,000 people annually at the Kentucky Expo Center, and other large niche trade shows in other cities. In 2018, Carrie, and two business partners, opened a beautiful event venue in Louisville where she had the opportunity to work individually with wedding couples and execute over 100 weddings and receptions.
The hard effects of the COVID-19 virus redirected Carrie’s career, and she happily accepted her current position as the Catering and Events Director at Woodhaven Country Club in May of 2021. At Woodhaven, Carrie continues her passion for executing events and working one-on-one with clients. “I just LOVE meeting new people and working with them to help make their visions come to life. It’s such a joyous, satisfying feeling to take the stress away from the client and allow them to enjoy the process. It truly makes me happy and is why I love what I do for a living!”.
